[Zope] zope and redhat

I have installed zope 2.8.7, Python 2.3.5 on Linux redhat enterprise AS 4 (2 cpu's and 2.6 kernel). When start zope it starts only one thread. I have compiled python with flag "with-thread", but all is the same. Pleas help me.
