If you don't have too much traffic on your site, you can let the "first user of the day" be responsible for triggering new values to a db/file using the ZopeTime function. It is also possible to set up an ODBC connection to Excel. Depending on your background, this might be simpler to set up. See the Excel help for the fine details.
