The short answer is "it depends". To make such files generally available you have to convert them to HTML so arbirary browsers can access them. You can use MS Word to do the conversion. If your Zope is running on a Windows machine that also has Word, you can manage the conversion dynamically using an External Method or a Product (which you'd have to write). Alternatively, you could store the MS Word document in it's XML form and use that to drive the rendering.
