yes, the only differences are usually in where the config files are
stored and how the services start. The apache specific stuff should be
the same, or at least very similar.

Building Zope has nothing to do with how it will run later (standalone or
behind Apache/Squid). That's only a configuration issue (on the Apache/Squid
side). So where is the problem?
