Re: [Zope] can't find template (newbie)

2006-02-06 Thread David De Maeyer
Sorry for posting in the wrong mailing-list.

I actually did found the templates just after posting
my mail; and did the changes. It worked after a bit of
tweaking. Surprinsingly I have been able to
modify/saving one template after logging as emergency
user but I haven't been able to modify a second
template. I had to create a new user with manager
credentials to be able to modify/save it. Anyway... it
is done.

Thanks for the replies!

Regards,
David

Re: [Zope] can't find template (newbie)

2006-02-06 Thread Barry Drake
David,
Look in portal_skins/portal_templates. The headers
and footers are there. If you plan to customize a
template you'll have to click the customize button.
This will make a copy of the template in
portal_skins/custom. After clicking the customize
button the template will be opened in your browser at
that "directory".

BTW, this question should have been asked in the Plone
mailing list. Please join that mailing list and ask
Plone specific questions there. You'll get prompt and
courteous responses there as well :-)

Cheers!
Barry Drake

Re: [Zope] can't find template (newbie)

2006-02-06 Thread Peter Bengtsson
The template that does the footer is probably in the portal_skins
folder. Poke around there.
I'm not a CMF/Plone expert but there are lots of people on the plone
mailing list who are. Good luck
