?
(just a guess, because it says that obj.modified already is a DateTime
instance)

Been following this turorial at:

Using Plone 3.0.6. and Zope 2.10.5 and trying to view
http://localhost:8080/portal/news/atom.xml
leads me to the below error. Plone 3 thing?
