TRACKING DATABASE TABLESPACE GROWTH | by David Busfield
http://www.searchDatabase.com/tip/1,289483,sid13_gci781366,00.html
In many situations, an Oracle DBA is required to monitor the space
allocations on many databases. A great deal of time may be spent in
executing the commands to ascertain the current amount of the
allocated space. There is no convenient tracking of the growth
without placing the data into some type of report. The scripts
provided here will allow tracking of growth for an Oracle database,
and flag possible error conditions before they occur. Additionally,
the data can be reported as statistics, by the DBA, to keep
management informed of growth, plot expected growth, and document the
requirement to obtain additional storage hardware.

DROP ALL USER-CREATED INDEXES OF A GIVEN TABLE | by Sachin Wable
http://www.searchDatabase.com/tip/1,289483,sid13_gci781351,00.html
Here is a simple SQL Server stored procedure that allows you to drop
all user-created indexes of a given table. It takes a single
parameter (@objname) and was created using temporary tables.

SQL SERVER 7.0 TO 2000 MIGRATION | by Mutlu Dapdelen
http://www.searchDatabase.com/tip/1,289483,sid13_gci781346,00.html
This tip is a remedy for the failings of Microsoft's new "Copy
Database" wizard, which the author claims doesn't work well enough
for an efficient SQL Server 7.0 to 2000 migration. He offers a
seven-step plan to do the job better.
