GRANT AND CREATE USER IN ONE STEP | Sameer Wadhwa

Most of the time, you probably create a user with a CREATE USER
command and then give grants. This is a two-step process. Here's how
to do it in one step. Suppose you want to create a user SAMDBA and

SQL PERFORMANCE COST TAKEOUT TIP | Tom McGannon

One easy cost-saving step is to check high cost DB2 plan explains for
index access with no matching columns, and then check the application
code to see if the host variable field size and the column size are
the same for the first column on the index. DB2 will not match
columns on the index if the field sizes are different. A simple fix
that can save big bucks!
