[1] "Analyst: Admins confused over Lotus' wireless offerings"
Lotus may be extending wireless support for Compaq's iPaq handheld
PC, but a Gartner analyst says that will do little to clear up the
confusion server admins have over Lotus' mobile and wireless product
offerings.

[2] "New 'war vote' virus deletes computer files"
It arrives in your Microsoft Outlook in box disguised as an e-mail
inviting you to vote on whether the U.S. should go to war following
the recent terrorist attacks. But it's actually the "Vote Virus,"
which deletes all the files on the computer's hard drive and sends
copies of the e-mail to every address listed in the computer's
address book.

THE MISSING LINK
A look at an off-the-wall story off the Web
-------------------------------------------------
"Laid-off techies swiping goods on way out"
Hello pink slips, goodbye laptops. As Internet start-ups go belly up,
laid off employees are bellying up to the spoils. More and more
disillusioned workers are stealing stuff -- looting laptops, heisting
handhelds, mooching monitors, pilfering printers and filching
furniture like they were consolation prizes. Insurance companies and
security experts nationwide say employee theft is on the rise,
especially in the technology industry. The "you lay me off, I'll rip
you off" mentality isn't really even hurting its intended targets.
Asset-management companies, furniture leasing companies and other
firms that loaned the failed companies their equipment are the ones
smarting from the stealing.
