Estee Lauder, popular purveyor of products purposed for pulchritude, has polished a partnership with French beauty bastions Chanel and Clarins to give the Internet a little gloss. Gloss.com will offer some 5,000 products from the French firms and the Lauder family (which includes Clinique and Bobbi Brown). The project has been tangled in troubles for the last few months, and industry watchers think the site will only make up (get it?) about 5% of the companies' revenues.
