LOTUS OFFERS DISCOVERY SERVER AS STAND-ALONE IN VERSION 1.1 | News:
ComputerWorld

Lotus will offer the next version of Discovery Server as a
stand-alone product not bundled with K-station, the other component
in its knowledge management platform. Discovery Server sorts
documents, files and even users by user-created taxonomies. Offering
it alone will result in lower prices and increased flexibility, Lotus
said.

THE MISSING LINK | THE WORLD'S MOST EXPENSIVE MOBILE PHONE

What's scarier than even the most frightening Halloween trick? How
about a $60,000 cell phone? Yikes! An Austrian jeweler is turning
cell phones into wireless treasure troves, retrofitting them in gold
and diamonds. His crown jewel is a Motorola with an 18-carat gold
faceplate that's iced down with 950 diamonds. If you're going to pay
that kind of cashola for a Motorola, the reception better be flawless
(and no roaming charges)! The jeweler has his hands on Palms now;
they'll run about $75,000 apiece -- perfect for the person who has
way too much money.
