IF ONLY WE KNEW WHAT WE KNOW | searchEBusiness
A good knowledge management system helps a company know what it
knows. But that knowledge isn't always helpful, and it's not always
so easy to extract from standardized systems, according to columnist
Peter A. Buxbaum.

THE MISSING LINK | Virgin gets in text message game

"Is there an airport nearby, or is that just my heart taking off?"
"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together." These
and other classically cheesy pickup lines are coming to Virgin
Mobile. Richard Branson, playing Cupid this time instead of Phileas
Fogg, will launch a text message flirting service on Valentine's Day.
The idea is to let shy, yet coquettish, customers flirt via anonymous
text messages. Think of it as a faceless, wireless icebreaker.
