USING ACTIVEX CONTROL IN SIMULATING A NOTES HOTSPOT | Dhana Sekar

We all know, that by creating a hotspot popup in notes, and clicking
on it will display a small popup. The same can be simulated on the
Web. Normal idea is to open a new window and display the text. Rather
than doing that, we can use active x controls to display a small
beautiful tool tip. It works only on windows machines. Here is the
way to do so.

TAKE OUR NEW POLL | SearchDomino

As IBM creates more ties between WebSphere and Domino, do you plan to
use WebSphere in the near future?

>>Take our poll: http://searchdomino.techtarget.com/poll

PREVIOUS POLL RESULTS:

Outlook/Exchange viruses are as common as bad sitcoms, but are you
worried that your Notes/Domino systems are vulnerable to viruses or
security breaches?

39%: I'm a little worried about viruses, but most Domino denial-of-
service attacks are easy to prevent.
32%: Why worry? Notes/Domino isn't as vulnerable as Microsoft's
     products.
28%: I'm very concerned. I don't know if Notes/Domino would really
hold
     up against a serious threat.
1%: I outsource my Notes/Domino security, so I never need to worry.
