Typically, you just want the last few days of mail anyways, but there are no POP3 settings that permit this. As a workaround, you can modify the ($POP3) view in your mail file so that it only shows mail from the last few days. Open your mail file in Domino Designer (or the mail template if you want everyone to get the change) and change the view selection formula to the code listed below. We have recently joined a domain in anticipation of migrating all of our Exchange users over to Notes. The Notes server is setup and registered and we have a WAN connection to the main mail routing server in Europe. Here is the problem: all mail goes out using SMTP regardless of what settings we try to use in out configuration document. I am at a loss as to what to try next...any input would be very much appreciated."
