"Joe" will ease your pain. Researchers in London found that a nice jolt of java raises blood pressure to a point where it kills pain. But there's a catch -- caffeine seems a little sexist. The study showed the painkilling prowess of coffee to be more profoundly pronounced in women. So while ladies self-medicate with Maxwell House, guys will just have to continue pulling their hair out.
