sitcom Seinfeld may have coined the term "regifting," but
sites such as eBay have perfected the practice. The Web auction site -- and smaller ones like it -- have given people a place to peddle their unwanted holiday gifts, rather than risk getting caught recycling them through their circle of family and friends. Officials from eBay say auction traffic spikes noticeably in January. You'd just better hope one of those surfers isn't Aunt Millie making sure you're not hawking those plaid socks she gave you!
