Kassel Kops charge electricity thief
![]()
Everyone's heard of the world's dumbest criminals, but what about the world's dumbest cops? That badge of dishonor has to go to three members of Kassel, Germany's fine force. The threesome arrested a young man for plugging his laptop into a socket at a train station. The charge? Stealing electricity! Shocking, isn't it? The "thief," who estimates he took less than a penny's worth of power, was trying to find the location of his
hostel. Prosecutors are trying to figure out if the case is worth pursuing.
