Happy Monday to you all! I hope you all had a nice and relaxing weekend.

Since I am new to the SearchDomino.com site, I would like to ask you all a few questions to get to know you better. I want to make sure that I am focusing our editorial resources on the issues that you find most important, and I can only do that if you chime in and tell me what you want covered.

So what are your hot buttons in terms of Notes/Domino issues? What technology issues keep you up at night? What information or resources do you wish you had at your disposal that you just can't seem to find anywhere?

I want to know your answers to these questions. Please e-mail me with your comments and ideas.

Thanks in advance for your replies, everyone. Have a great week.

    ~Christine

     Expert Technical Advice:

    Featured Expert: Chuck Connell
    Category: Security and Administration

    Dear Chuck:
In a Domino-based Web application where users are authenticated to the system via an external certificate, how do we permit users to perform submissions from the Web if anonymous access to the database is set to No Access? Authentication to the URL is secured by WebSEAL. In this case, is it safe to grant anonymous users Editor access in the database ACL?

    Site Exclusives:
    >> Huge spike in e-mail phishing attacks reported
New research explains just how bad the problem of e-mail spoofing has gotten -- and which businesses are the most likely to have their corporate identities ripped off.

    >> Analyst calls Lotus' strategy a messaging misstep
IBM Lotus is disputing an analyst's assertion that its Workplace product line will cause Big Blue's messaging market share to tumble.

    >> There's logic in moving beyond Bayesian filters
Bayesian filters are effective spam fighters, but they are best used as a last line of defense against unwanted e-mail, experts say. To get more aggressive, try DNS blacklists, whitelists and a relatively new method called URL-based filtering.
