Next week, Peter Janzen, product manager at IBM Lotus Software will be joining us for our May Lotus Live! Series webcast.

He is going to show us how to enhance our applications with instant messaging and other new Designer 6.5 collaborative features. He'll also give us a sneak peek at its many new offerings, including support for Web services and DB2 integration.

If you would like to attend this live webcast on May 17 at noon EDT (16:00, GMT), please pre-register for the event now.

Peter will also spend about 20-30 minutes answering audience questions. If you would like to ask him a question in advance, you can do so by sending an e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]. Questions sent in advance take precedence, so if you're eager to have Peter address a particular Domino Designer issue, send it in now to make sure it gets priority status.

Also, if you have thoughts about future webcast topics, I am always eager to hear your ideas. Please send any suggestions you may have to [EMAIL PROTECTED].

    Have a great week, everyone.

    ~Christine

    Dear Chuck:
I have Domino 5.0.9. I have downloaded Antispam.nsf. I manually added the agent in the mail database of the user. It is deleting the spam mails based on the e-mail address. I want to delete the spam mails based on subject. How do I do this?

    Tip of the Week:
    Password expiration of Notes IDs
    by Chuck Connell
Password expiration does involve more work for users and for administrators (when users forget their new passwords). So, this is an important question for your organization: "How serious do you want to be about computer security? You might legitimately answer, "Not too serious. Fixed passwords are good enough for us." But, depending on the nature of your company, you might answer, "We take data security quite seriously and are willing to take the steps necessary to improve it." In the latter case, you should strongly consider enabling password expiration for Notes IDs. Here's how to do it.
