IBM signs on new Workplace partners

TIPS: Password expiration for Notes IDs
Password expiration involves more work for users and for administrators (when users forget their new passwords). So, this is an important question for your organization: "How serious do you want to be about computer security? You might legitimately answer, "Not too serious. Fixed passwords are good enough for us." But, depending on the nature of your company, you might answer, "We take data security quite seriously and are willing to take the steps necessary to improve it." In the latter case, you should strongly consider enabling password expiration for Notes IDs. Here's how to do it.

TOPICS: Developer Discussion Forum: Carriage return on a Web-submitted form
"Tom" writes:
I have a Web form for people to post job listings at their respective locations; this is an anonymous form. Everything works fine and looks very good in Notes. But over the Web, I keep getting extra carriage returns. So, for example, something that should only have two carriage returns between paragraphs now has five. I know I can use @replacesubstring, but this removes ALL of the returns. Any ideas on how to get this to format the way I want it to? By the way, these are just straight text fields.

The Missing Link
One in four nods off at work
[Reuters]
More than a few workers have a touch of George Costanza in them. Just like the Seinfeld sidekick, about 25% of Europeans admitted to catching a catnap at work, according to a Jobline and Monster Worldwide study. These employees said they had either snoozed at their desk (just like George), drifted off in a meeting or entered la-la land in the loo. Breaking down the nodding off by nationality, the Irish are the most prone to sleeping on the job and the Dutch are least likely to drift off.
