According to published reports in Australia, Microsoft is translating The Illiad into text -- as in text messages. So far Microsoft has trimmed 37,000 words into 32 lines ("Helen went 2 watch from da walls"), complete with smiley face icons. It's like CliffsNotes for people who don't have the attention span for
CliffsNotes or the time to sit through Troy.
