Ask Chuck Connell: ACLs lost during AS/400 to Win2k server migration
[SearchDomino.com]
Dear Chuck: I'm in the process of moving my users' mail files from an AS/400 server to a Windows 2000 server, using the move utility in the Notes administrator. It seems that at least one of every 10 I move "loses" its ACL. I have to go and make a local copy of the mail file, edit the ACL, and then copy it back to the new server. Am I doing something wrong?

In addition, you'll learn about some of the problems that can crop up when you use certain common techniques to combat e-mail impersonation. For some people, the cure can be worse than the disease. So this chapter covers ways you can deal with this problem in a fashion appropriate for your company's e-mail usage patterns.
