Vendor: Two out of every three e-mails now spam

According to e-mail monitoring company Brightmail, 65% of all e-mail messages sent in June 2004 were spam, up from just 8% three years ago.
IBM shuffles its executive deck

IBM has announced that several of its executives have been moved into new roles, including former Lotus chief Al Zollar. Zollar, who was heading up IBM's iSeries midrange server group, is now in charge of Tivoli systems management software.

This story could be disturbing to some readers. In fact, this would give Stephen King nightmares. Parental discretion is advised. Ready? Some people like spam! As unspeakable as the notion sounds to most of civilization, a survey of Yahoo Mail users revealed that 20% actually bought stuff from spammers. These spam feeders say they find good bargains in their little inbox of horrors. Evidently, one man's trash folder is another
man's treasure.
