Create a dynamic table row
[Phani Kiran]
This tip shows you step-by-step how to create a dynamic table row creation with the help of Formula at runtime.
Rich text field workarounds
[Leo Dai]
In R6, if an editable rich text field contains an attachment, while the document is in read mode, the user who has author access rights or higher may right click the attachment and select to "Edit" or "Delete" the attachment. These actions will even turn the document into Edit mode without triggering mode change events. This tip shows you two workarounds for this problem.
Solving the decimal separator problem
[Jennifer Y Qin]
Reading a decimal number from a string can bring you a lot of trouble if you support clients with different decimal separators. All of the calculation will not complete and no error is generated in the log. This tip shows you code to avoid this problem.

Chapter Download: Crawling the Web with Java
Crawler technology is useful in many types of Web-related applications For example, you might use a crawler to look for broken links or find changes in a commercial Web site. In this chapter from the book The Art of Java, by Herbert Schildt and James Holmes, you'll learn how to develop a Search Crawler. It crawls the Web, looking for sites that contain strings matching those specified by the user, and displays the URLs of
the sites for which matches are found.
ADVICE:
Ask Brian Mahoney: Make an e-mail address inherit into a new page
Dear Brian: I have a database that I am converting to a Web site. I have a login page where users enter their e-mail addresses and then hit submit. The submit button does a database lookup to see if an e-mail address is valid. If valid, it opens up another form, which is the welcome page. Right now, I can't get an e-mail address to inherit into this new page. Do you have any suggestions?
