ABOUT THE WEBCAST:
More and more industries are taking a serious look at e-mail records management and striving to improve the way they manage information throughout its lifecycle. As a critical form of business communication, e-mail messages are under scrutiny. In fact, the financial services industry faces several regulatory requirements in the area of e-mail records management such as Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Rule 17a-4, the
Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) 3010(d).
Your existing Notes/Domino e-mail and information availability plans must be reviewed and modified to ensure and support the required level of e-mail security, protection, monitoring, maintenance and exchange. Without appropriate accommodation in those areas, your e-mail records management program cannot support creation, active use and long-term retention -- or information availability -- as it relates to those areas.
At this webcast, you'll hear how e-mail records management should be part of your overall Notes/Domino architecture and learn how to include in your system:
- Recovery: Ensuring that disaster recovery, failover and active load-balancing solutions are in place.
- Restart: Having a restart process that ensures you can send and receive mission-critical Notes/Domino e-mail records during an unexpected interruption of service.
- Record replication: Maintaining e-mail records, in their most complete state, to ensure that all changes and additions are always part of their availability.
- Record management: The archiving of Notes e-mail records as you manage their lifecycle.
