IBM's Tivoli group is teaming up with Ping Identity Corp. on an identity management interoperability effort that will make it easier for small companies to join federated identity chains, connecting their identity stores to their larger partners' systems.

IBM participates in mobile e-commerce platform

NTT DoCoMo, Intel and IBM have introduced a new open and secure architecture for future wireless data services. The Trusted Mobile Platform is intended to encourage the proliferation of mobile e-commerce services.
