The Missing Link

Web gets Evel -- Evel not happy
[Reuters]
He could jump rows of buses, schools of sharks and the Snake River canyon. But when it comes to the Web, Evel Knievel has hit the wall. The death-defying daredevil couldn't summon the derring-do to successfully sue ESPN. The sports network's EXPN Web site published a photo of Knievel in 2001 with his arms around his wife and a second young woman with the caption "You're never too old to be a pimp." Feeling defamed over "pimp" or "old," Knievel sued, but an appeals court ruled that the suit will not go forward. So maybe he should just stick to fly suits instead of lawsuits.
