Ask Jens Bruntt: Problems closing a page with a _javascript_ function
Dear Jens: I am presently working on a new Lotus Notes project using version 6.5. I'm using Web pages, not Lotus Notes client. I'm having difficulty closing a page with a _javascript_ function and hiding some page elements depending access control of the logon user. Do you have any pointers?

How scalable is your IT vocabulary solution?
[Associated Press]
Today, companies no longer run programs; they "experience scalable solutions." On top of that, everyone knows that in the 1990s "company" became "enterprise" in the world of IT vernacular. However, marketing lingo has reached a new low, according to Alan Freedman, founder of The Computer Language Company. Freedman said the meanings of PR technology terms have become so confusing that he has to reread press releases to find out what
the product does. Freedman can't complain too much though. His collection of tech tomes are inherently viral solutions with stickiness that will last until that inevitable day when even "encyclopedia" is replaced with a more marketable phrase. "Scalable reference network" has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
