VBS.VBSWG2, nicknamed "Homepage," is the latest little nasty that's wriggled into a bunch of companies and is stalking even more. The worm could bring down corporate mail servers by sending out thousands of copies of itself. The e-mail spreading the worm has the subject line "Homepage," and the message, "Hi! You've got to see this page. It's really cool ;o)". Experts say the malicious e-mail attachment uses similar code to the Kournikova worm, only this one seems to be spreading faster. Kevern is a repo man, and repo men are very busy men right now in Silicon Valley. As the fortunes of IT companies continue to sag, many high-tech workers who have recently found themselves out of work are also finding themselves out of a fancy ride they can no longer afford. And they get little sympathy from guys like James Kevern. "High-tech people suck to deal with," Kevern said. "They act like they're above it."
