One of the principal missions of searchWin2000 is to provide a virtual water cooler where IT pros can share ideas. Thats one reason behind Bill Boswells Admin Corner Puzzle. The puzzle is our newest community feature, complementing user-submitted tips, Ask the Expert, discussion boards and live chats with leading industry experts.

Today, Im pleased to introduce puzzle contest winner Gerry Costa, whose workaround for Margaret the computer gurus domain limit problem earned her a $25 searchWin2000 book store gift certificate. We hope Gerry will be the first in a long line of IT problem solvers we recognize in the Admin Corner and elsewhere on the site. Were already tallying up the right answers to determine the victor in our December 7 puzzle. Forgot to enter? Not to worry. Look for Bills next problem in the Administrator Forum on Wednesday.

Microsoft believes they can muscle heavyweight management products from Tivoli, Hewlett-Packard, and CA out of the Windows world. Are MOM and SMS tough enough to do that job? Find out in this searchWindowsManageability collection of links that offer insights and expert advice about these and other Microsoft management tools.
