Inquiring Microsoft minds wanted to know -- what drives corporate
users batty? The most "popular" answer to the Microsoft-sponsored

too many of them and that the update mechanism itself is out of
control.

FIRED AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON | The Missing Link

Getting the boot is tough. Giving the boot has never been easier
thanks to some new sacking software. Business Layers, the U.S.
company that's "fired up" about its virtual guillotine, says one
click locks up the e-mail, kills the phone extension and computer
password, closes payroll, cancels the corporate credit cards and
voids the passkeys of the sacked subordinate. It even tells the IT
guy to come get the unlucky person's computer. Business Layers could
be poised to do some big business -- given the fact that pink slips
are so en vogue these days.
