company's Global Services arm will use Iona's Orbix E2A platform to
span the chasm between J2EE and .NET. Compaq believes its users need
this bridge because heterogeneous support is becoming so important in
this era of Web services.

DELL GIVES "STEVEN" A WEB SITE | The Missing Link

Dude, you're gettin' a Web site! Dell's "spokesdude," the young man
who pitches PCs on TV, is evidently getting some kind of following.
"Steven" has stirred up enough interest to get his own Web site.
"Steven's Site" has his software and peripherals picks, tells you
what kind of notebook he uses, shows his latest commercial and has
some info on the actor who plays him, 21-year-old Benjamin Curtis.
Poor Clara Peller never got her own Web site -- remember her? (Hint:
"Where's the beef?")
