Be especially aware of e-mails bearing gifts. Another virus claiming
to be an Internet security update from Microsoft is mass mailing
through cyberspace. The virus, which goes by the names I-Worm.Gibe,
W32/Gibe@mm, and WORM_GIBE.A, isn't destructive itself but can
install a backdoor Trojan which allows remote access to an infected
system.

BROWSER MAKERS HID JAVA PROXY FLAW FOR A YEAR -- RESEARCHER | News:

That flaw in Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine may have been news to
you, but it was hardly a surprise to Sun, according to a Dutch
security expert. Harmen van der Wal says he reported the Java HTTP
proxy vulnerability to Sun on April 7, 2001 -- almost 11 months ago.

Microsoft infuses new BMWs with Windows CE | The Missing Link

The BMW 7 Series: a big price tag, luscious leather, heavenly
handling, power windows...and Windows. The newest top-of-the-line
Bimmers come with Bill Gates on the dash -- in the form of Windows
CE. The OS will power the dashboard control display, and BMW hopes it
will make everything from finding the right song on the right CD to
entering destinations into the navigation device easier. One thing
you must credit to Microsoft -- the company has drive.
