The company has filed a one BILLION dollar lawsuit against Microsoft. Sun is piping hot over the fact that Windows XP does not support Java. That's one of the thrusts of the suit, along with Microsoft's alleged monopolizing of the Internet. A computer specialist convinced the military to pay for a T1 Internet line that he said they needed to communicate with troops stationed in Bosnia. But this was allegedly a bunch of Balkan baloney. Investigators say he really used the line to run a for-profit sex show on the Web. Major mistake! The indictment says the T1 cost the Army more than $100,000 between 1997 and 1998.
