SearchWin2000 quietly hit a major milestone last month. Our membership passed the 200,000 mark. I won't bore you with a litany of reasons why our online community is thriving. You know what you like about us or else you wouldn't be registered and reading this note. Suffice it to say that we have achieved an important critical mass and -- with your help -- we plan to make the most of it.

Here's the pitch: You've all got opinions about the Windows platform and how Microsoft supports its corporate customer base. We know how to elicit those opinions, define issues that are important to you, and develop hard-hitting editorial from the information you provide. Let's combine forces and rate Microsoft on its performance as a market leader, technology innovator and corporate business partner.

Your part will take about ten minutes. Simply fill out this on-line survey. That's it. We'll do the rest, then publish the results in a Microsoft report card of sorts later on in the spring. Of course, if you have more to say about Windows, Microsoft, SearchWin2000, or just want to share ideas for future user-based research, be sure to drop me an email and let me know what you think.
