Hello again, SearchWin2000 members! We've been busy as ever here at SearchWin2000 with the Ask the Experts and Best Web Links sections of our site -- not to mention our increasingly popular weekly Featured Topics and Online Events. But the next couple of weeks are going to be especially busy for me, as I frantically prepare for my trip to New Orleans for the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2002 conference, April 9-13.
Although I have been to Microsoft conferences in the past, this will be my first time at a Tech-Ed conference. So I really have no idea what sessions and speakers are worth my time. This got me thinking that there may be some of you in the same boat.
In a (selfish) effort to remedy this situation, I've set up a special place in a SearchWin2000 discussion forum for attendees to hook up online and offer and ask advice about anything and everything related to the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2002 conference. From keynotes, speakers and sessions to hotel and travel info, come share your Tech-Ed knowledge and experiences or post your questions. Comments on good restaurants and clubs are welcome too, of course!
Also, if any of you would be interested in hooking up while in the Big Easy, I'd love to get together with a small group of you. It would be fun to meet some of our SearchWin2000 members in person. If you're interested in setting something up, shoot me an e-mail and we can work out details.
Christine Polewarczyk
P.S. Did you guys hear that Blues Traveler is playing at the attendee party on Thursday night, April 11? Very cool!
