REPORT: AMD GETS MS' SUPPORT FOR 64-BIT CHIPS | News: IDG News

The Hammer is backed! No, not MC Hammer, but Advanced Micro Devices'
(AMD's) 64-bit processor line, code-named "Hammer." AMD says
Microsoft is backing the line and will offer Windows versions that
support Hammer. AMD and Intel are rivals; it looks like MS will be
supporting both.

SYSTEM TRACKS MICROSOFT APP USAGE | News: InternetWeek

If Microsoft's licensing rules and regulations keep you up at night,
you might want to look into an upgraded tallying tool from Tally
Systems. The company's TS.Census product can help you keep track of
your software deployments, so you'll have a better idea what you've
installed and what's actually being used. Knowing that kind of info
should come in handy when Microsoft's software police come calling.

MICROSOFT RELEASES SP2 FOR BIZTALK SERVER | News: ENT Magazine

If you're running BizTalk Server 2000, you may want to head over to
www.microsoft.com/BizTalk/downloads/updates/2000/SP2.asp. There
you'll find the second service pack for the product. SP2 packs
support for Visio 2002 and a virtual can of Raid (i.e., a few bug
fixes). SP2 can be applied over SP1.

BACK TO THE FUTURE FOR THE C64 | The Missing Link

Deep in the attic of our memories, somewhere between Merlin, a Shaun
Cassidy fanzine, and those choking hazard-sized Star Wars figures,
sits the Commodore 64, the computer popular when the Commodores still
had a singer named Lionel Richie. Think the old Commodore doesn't
have a place in the Internet Age, that it's as dated as A Flock of
Seagulls? Think again! Two guys who adore their Commodore have dusted
it off and turned it into a streaming audio machine.
