Microsoft will make over the software that could make it easier for businesses to build portal Web sites. SharePoint, which is expected to ship in mid 2003, will help non-technical employees build corporate portals on their own.

Might as well face it, you're addicted to text, Barry de Lacey. The 14-year-old Brit experienced a bout of mobile madness, sending 2,500 text messages in a single month! That's more than 80 per day. But Barry's SMS spasms ended when the monster bill arrived in dad's letter box. Grand total: $315. Mr. De Lacey couldn't believe it -- there was no way his precious progeny could have sent so many messages to so many friends in so little time, until the phone company produced the proof. "I just don't know how he could keep awake to send out so many messages," said Barry's dazed dad.a
