THE MISSING LINK
'I'm in the tree,' says granny
;)
Romania -- home of the blood-curdling Dracula legend and the talkative, tree-climbing granny. The 78-year-old woman doesn't climb for her health; she does it because it's the only way she can get a signal on her cell phone. Granny usually talks to the lower branches on her family tree when she's perched in a cherry tree. Every Wednesday and Saturday at 10 p.m. she's 20 feet up, cell phone in hand, waiting for the grandkids to call. Way to go out on a limb, granny. Can you hear me now?
