USE GPO TO CONTROL LOGON | by James Michael Stewart

Group policies can be used to control numerous aspects of the logon
process for Windows 2000 and Windows XP clients in an Active
Directory domain. The controls are found in the Computer
Configuration and User Configuration sections of the GPO under
Administrative Templates, System, Logon. The User Configuration's
Logon section contains three controls.
