NEWS
DDoS war effort must be led by ISPs (SearchSecurity.com)

GreyMagic publishes IE exploit details (IDG News)
GreyMagic Software has tossed more gasoline on the full disclosure debate by releasing the exploit code for vulnerabilities it discovered in Internet Explorer. GreyMagic, based in Israel, published the information on their public Web site and announced it to several security sites frequented by hackers. THE MISSING LINK
Stick in the city: Microsoft takes Manhattan

Butterflies belong in a meadow or a stomach -- not plastered all over midtown Manhattan! The Big Apple has ordered the big software company to remove a bevy of butterfly stickers from phone booths, telephone poles and subway posts. Those slick "city stickers" from Redmond went to New York for a wingding to promote this week's launch of MSN 8. And you just can't toot MSN's horn without fake, sticky butterflies. New York officials, who are probably going to switch to AOL, aren't too thrilled with the insect infestation, calling it an "illegal, irresponsible and dangerous defacing of public property." Microsoft may have to pay a $50 fine, but it's that $5 handling fee that could really smart.
