AOL did it, Yahoo did it, now Microsoft has done it -- the corporate ping thing. This week Redmond unveiled MSN Messenger Connect for Enterprises, a corporate IM tool. But wait, isn't enterprise IM Greenwich's business? Why come out with this now? MS might think you're itching for corporate IM ASAP, but some analysts and users don't think customers are ready to scratch just yet.

THE MISSING LINK
The "Secret's" out & Potter's pirate fodder
;)
If you want to welcome back Potter and see Harry's new movie before it hits the theater, you don't need to be a wizard. You do need powers though -- power to your computer and power to your modem. Evidently the geeky scofflaws of cyberspace have already scooped the new "Chamber of Secrets" movie days before its theatrical release. A Web site called uNDeR.THe.iNFLueNCe claims to have it, and they probably got it from sneak preview showings last week in the U.K. Warner Brothers officials said that they found an alleged copy of the movie on the Net only to discover it was a blank decoy. It's unclear if they visited the aforementioned site. Whoever's doing this better hope they don't get caught. Warner Brothers is in a prosecuting mood over this Hogwarts hijacking.
