THE MISSING LINK
Bluegrass State now the Broadband State

Life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and broadband. Broadband? The commonwealth of Kentucky says that high-speed Internet access has reached "inalienable rights" status and that residents of the Bluegrass State deserve it just like they deserve electricity and running water. The Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC), which funds low-income housing projects, has ruled that any dwelling paid for mostly with KHC money must have access to high-speed Internet services. Nebraska, Oregon and Wisconsin are pushing for the same thing, but Kentucky is the first to actually mandate broadband access. Dial-up? That's for Tennessee!
