RELOCATE PAGEFILE UPON REBOOT | by Serdar Yegulalp

Systems that get heavy usage may experience pagefile fragmentation,
which can have an adverse impact on performance. One way to get
around this, especially if the system has multiple hard drives (or
hard drive partitions), is to have Windows automatically relocate the
pagefile on each reboot and delete the old file.

HOW TO INSTALL THE FTP SERVER ON WINDOWS XP | by Robert Shahon

Did you know that Windows XP Professional comes with a Web server and
an FTP server? You can use the FTP server to share files with other
computers on your home network, or you can make the FTP server
available to people on the Internet. This tip will have you serving
up or transferring files in no time.

RECOVER AD OBJECTS USING A SYSTEM STATE BACKUP | by Kevin Crandall

Whoops! Through a glitch in replication or simultaneous
administrative activity, an OU or user(s) has been deleted from your
Active Directory. With a little planning, and without bothering your
backup operator for tapes, you can restore the deleted object(s) in
10 minutes -- without having to restore from tape by implementing a
daily, local backup of System State to the local filesystem. Then, if
necessary, you can perform an Authoritative Restore from that local
System State backup without scrambling for tapes.

CAN I TRIPLE BOOT WINDOWS? | Ask Jerry Honeycutt

Dear Jerry:
I am a foreign student in Japan and I have this desktop with Windows
ME OS (Japanese). Since I am not really interested in using the
machine in Japanese, I installed the Windows 2000 (English) on the
other partition. Now here comes XP and I would like to try it. Would
my machine be okay if I installed XP for a third boot? My machine is
40 GB. Would it help to install a secondary hard drive that has a
higher memory capacity?
