CHANGE WINDOWS ARP RESOLUTION | by Serdar Yegulalp

ARP (address resolution protocol) is used by TCP/IP to bind a network
interface's physical address to an IP address. ARP resolution has to
be performed on a particular interface before it can communicate on
the network. To keep from having to repeatedly perform ARP
resolutions, Windows 2000 stores ARP bindings in a local cache on
each networked computer. If you have systems in a local network that
perform a great deal of peer-to-peer communication, it makes sense to
increase the lifetime of entries in the cache. Otherwise, they expire
unnecessarily.

RECONNECT AFTER SYSTEM INSTALLATION | by Barrie Sosinsky

You might have encountered this common problem when reinstalling the
Windows operating system on a client: The client no longer can log
into the network. Apparently the machine name is unchanged from
before, and the user name and passwords are also correct. You also
find that it doesn't matter what level of privileges the user has,
the system can't log in, even though the domain controller clearly
shows the system by the system name you are using. So what's the
issue?

HOW CAN I TEST MY SUS SERVER? | Ask Rod Trent

Is there any way to test or force an update from the SUS client or
from the SUS server? I can't get my SUS server running. How can I
