ENABLE 802.1X SECURITY IN WINDOWS 2000 | by Serdar Yegulalp

While Win2k drivers exist for 802.1x wireless hardware, Windows does
not natively support 802.1x security protocols. This is a problem for
administrators who want to use Win2k clients in a secured 802.11
environment. Sometimes the only way to do this is to use a
third-party security solution. Unfortunately, if different machines
are using different manufacturer's hardware, the key lengths are
often incompatible.

COVER YOUR TRACKS: DELETING MOVIE MAGIC | by Tim Fenner

Far be it from us to recommend goofing off at work. But that having
been said, have you ever wanted to download and watch movies? How
about while you are supposed to be working and not keeping up with
the latest exploits of Wolverine, Dr. Evil or Trinity? After watching
a video, Media Player maintains a list under its file menu and in the
registry, displaying the names of the files you recently reviewed.
This tip will show you a way to clear them all out manually without
having to install additional software.

CHANGE ADDRESS STAY LENGTH IN ARP CACHE | Ask Jerry Honeycutt

Dear Jerry:
Is there an entry such as "ArpCacheTimeout" to change the time the
addresses stay in the cache? I teach and would like to increase the
amount of time the entries are held in the cache to allow better
demonstrations, lab projects, etc., concerning ARP.
