PROTECTING FOLDERS ON A SHARED COMPUTER | Ask Jerry Honeycutt

Dear Jerry:
I'm using Windows 2000 Professional, and I would like to set user
profiles so that one user cannot access another user's files. But
even when I make a user a "guest," he can still go into the Documents
and Settings folder and access another user's personal files. How do
I make it so multiple users can use the same computer but not have
access to each other's files?

LIVING OFF THE FAT OF THE LAN | IT Challenge

FASTFAT is a driver that provides support for FAT16 volumes in
Windows 2000. Sometimes a system will crash or refuse to start,
citing an error in the file FASTFAT.SYS. The more likely culprit is
not the driver itself but:

a. Manufacturer's RAM not working with a particular machine
b. A faulty SIMM or DIMM in the computer
c. An older version of the driver requiring an update
d. Both a and b
e. A king-size meatball sandwich with extra provolone
