Win2000 recommended until Longhorn released (IT Week)
Microsoft is promising more details in October about the next version of Windows, but for now, the software maker is recommending that organizations adopt Windows 2000 until the release of Longhorn. Microsoft says it will offer clarification of its Windows road map at next month's Professional Developers Conference.

IBM, Palm: PDA plan doesn't target MS (SearchMobileComputing.com)
IBM and Palm, which are partnering to bring IBM's enterprise platform to the PDA, say their goal isn't to fight Microsoft. Rather, they say they are focusing on providing interoperability among Microsoft, IBM and Lotus applications.
