Microsoft issues warning about code download (eWEEK)
Microsoft has sent warning letters to some computer users that it says have downloaded the Windows source code that leaked onto the Internet late last week. The Web site Bink.nu reported that one user was tracked down by Microsoft through an ISP after the user downloaded the code on a peer-to-peer site. Microsoft has declined to discuss the specifics of the letter, but Bink reported that it contains a threat of legal action unless the copy of the
code is destroyed.

Report: Oracle pricing won't lure SQL Server users (SearchOracle.com)
Despite reducing the price of its Standard Edition One database to match the cost of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle will have a tough time selling its products to SQL Server users, according to a report by AMR Research.
