    by Marilyn Cohodas, Senior Editor

For the past two years, nearly 1,000 of you have joined forces with SearchWin2000.com to grade Microsoft and its flagship enterprise products. We've documented your biggest gripes and most noteworthy kudos, then published the results in an annual report card.

Well, it's that time of year again!

Did Microsoft get trustworthy computing right with the release of Window Server 2003? What benefits do you see from Active Directory? Are you going to renew your Software Assurance agreement? What's up with the MCSE credential? Is Linux in your enterprise?

The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. We'll tally the results, compare your answers with last year, then publish the finding on our site. Help us grade Microsoft! You'll be rewarded with an interesting read.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to help us put together this report card. We really appreciate your input.

    Marilyn

    Tip of the Week:
This handy WMI script can be called from your login scripts to clean up the viruses that write to the windows registry Run key. Of course, you may want to add a Reg backup line to backup the registry first. This is an example with the most recent Netsky.D worm, which was a recent category 4.
